+By sending the application for acceptance, interested doctoral candidates provide various information to the faculties. This is done using the digital application in HISinOne, the DOC502.
+One mandatory requirement is to __provide the name of the supervisor__, ideally the __first supervisor__.
+However, those interested in a doctorate **can only select those supervisors** who are **authorized by the faculty and recorded in HISinOne**.
+The faculties are responsible for updating the supervisors registered in HISinOne.
+The list of supervisors maintained in HISinOne is managed by __people assigned with the role of people management__ of the respective faculty. New/Additional supervisors are ideally submitted and listed to the people managers, and retiring or emeritus professors are taken off the list of supervisors.
